What is a Home Kiwanis Club:

The ‘Home’ Club is the Rocky Mountain District Kiwanis Club that sponsored the Key Club or Circle K Club at the time the KC Graduate (KCG) was a member when they graduated from High School or College.

It is recommended that the Home Kiwanis Club adopt a policy of support for the Rocky Mountain District KC Graduate program. In this the Home Club can determine what they will provide to the KC Graduate as a ‘Special’ Honorary Member of their Kiwanis Club. Suggestions may include sending the member the Club Newsletters, invitation the KC Graduate to the Club meeting or participate in events when they return to the area, or whatever the Home Kiwanis Club wishes.

The ‘Home’ Club President will be notified by the KC Graduate Administrator of a KC Graduate member for their Kiwanis Club. Contact information will be provided to both the Home Club President and the KC Graduate member.

What is a Host Kiwanis Club:

The ‘Host’ Kiwanis Club is a Kiwanis Club agreeing to host a KCG member that is relocating to their area from the KCG’s Home Club area.

The Host Kiwanis Club could be any Kiwanis International Club. The President of the Host Club will be notified of the KC Graduate member in their area by the KC Graduate Program Administrator. Contact information will be provided to both the Host Club President and the KC Graduate member to allow them to communicate to coordinate Club meeting dates and location.

Suggested Kiwanis Club Policy Statement:
